Time

Today I was blessed with time to spend in the garden, time to finish my latest project and time to let the clothes dry outside in the sun. Thank you Lord.

First lot of flowers from my own garden!

Latest project: Inspirational quotes, framed.

How have you used your free time lately?

Thankfulness Lately

Lately I have been thankful for glorious sunsets

For beautiful homemade gifts from even more beautiful friends

For family time and an inspring movie recomended by Dad

For a facial night and catch up with friends

For great friends I have known for almost fifteen years and times to cuddle on the couch, laugh and let our hair down.

For a safe home that I love, even if it decides to lock me out

For inspiring prints that I spot while window shopping at this store.

What are some things you are thankful for?
Happy Weekend-ing everyone!

Didn't expect this

What an event filled day!
It was one of those day that God springs on you out of no where.

Date Day

Our orginal idea of date day at the Adelaide Show was out of question as work is prority but that didn't stop us from enjoying the morning together. Another lovely cafe provided us with tasty food, freshly squeezed orange juice and a beautiful seat outside. Mr J's big breakfast was certainly big and my fritatta was certainly homemade. Yum. We then strolled though Rundle Mall until we realised the clouds becoming grey. We turned around to try and beat the rain, but it bet us. Our hair was wet but through many laughs and the scenery of the botanical gardens, that didn't faze us. On our way home we detoured roadworks and although Mr J won't admit it, we may have lost our way for a bit. What a great day and great memories!

Puppy, Munchkins and Friends

I look forward to these nights every time. We headed to our friends place for tacos, cuddles with the new puppy (Merlot) and were introduced to a new board game - Munchkins. We fought monsters, made our tacos into salad-on-a-plate, awww-ed at Merlot and caught up on the past few weeks. I could do this all the time.

Spontaneous Day Out

It's Saturday. The weather was on it's very best behaviour today. I wore clothes for the warmth and after two loads of washing and a vote for the government Jamie and I drove through the sunshine for a bite to eat. With no plans, we ended up at this pub for a schnitzel, cider, football and some vitamin D. After a few hours, relaxing with by wonderful fiance - we drove home to watch our team win in a final.

Me Time

Sometimes you need some time with your own thoughts, some fresh air, God and a yummy breakfast. I walked to this cafe to enjoy the lovely sunshine before a day of study in the city.

Hello Football, Goodbye Aami Stadium

Mr J and I put on our teal, black and white and boarded the footy bus to Aami Stadium for the frist time this year and last time forever. Thankyou to P,L,B & L for Jamie's birthday tickets!

The sun was too friendly for the first half of the game and was always jumping in our eyes, but the second half it disapeared so we could watch the nail biting finish. Unfortunatly we lost by one point but I'm ready to cheer GO POWER! in the finals.

Great day!
